"This is an outdoor mirror, but the backing is hardboard, and unless it cannot get wet, will surely rot in a shorter time than anticipated. The glass mirror itself is not sealed to the front frame, hence rain water can get into the framework and the backing, again causing rotting in a short time. I actually ran a silicone seal around all the edges of the frame and mirror, to prevent water ingress."
