"To put it into a few words this item is not what it said it was on the box. To be honest quite the opposite, it has attracted more cat pooh than ever!! "This product worked really well first time I bought it in the winter to ward off both cats and foxes. And has worked again very well this time except for one small corner of my garden where cats/foxes are still doing their business.Way better than when I don't use the product as the whole of my garden borders were covered in poo!! I am wondering whether the really hot weather may be affecting area as in question is in direct sunlight so pellets are drying out very quickly. Would definitely recommend it."

"Instead of using it as a fertiliser where the odour would disappear fairly quickly I put some in old lidded margerine tubs with several holes pierced round the sides and placed them at the sites where the cats are known to enter the garden hoping that the fumes (this stuff doesn't half pong!) would remain and be detected for longer. So far it has worked after several weeks. This especially beneficial as fledglings are now appearing in the garden."

"Sprinkled some on the lawn where there'd been persistent fouling by neighbour's cat (he's brave, he's about the quarter of the size of our big, soft mog!). We also placed some in a metal canister with holes in it and a lid (the type you can buy in IKEA). We think this makes a big difference as it protects the product from rain. The result? No fowling for over 2 weeks. I moved the canister to a bench. Fowling returned straightaway even though area wa sprinkled.. Canister back on lawn: no fowling. So, was sceptical at first, but I think it actually works. The secret is to keep it protected from rain."

I will keep using the pellets to ensure the cats stay away for good as the nuisance was very unpleasant and antisocial. I have also used other deterrents in crystal form, not sure if they worked or not."
