"This product is very dangerous! The first time I switched it on, I heard a fizzing sound, and smelt burning. I switched-off, and checked the batteries were in correctly - they were. I switched it on again, with the battery compartment open. I saw the spring at the base of one of the batteries glow orange! I switched-off and removed the batteries. The spring, and another spring, retained the compressed state they had when the batteries were inserted - it seems that the glowing had actually melted the springs, and welded them in this state. This is a dangerous fault for any product, and especially for a product that is worn on the body. Please warn other customers, and the manufacturer of this product, of its danger. I hope to be in touch to arrange for the collection of the item from me, and a refund."

"This product is plain rubbish. It takes ages to achieve lukewarm state, and the batteries don't last long. You might expect a scarf to warm the back of the neck, but this doesn't. The two heated sections are near the ends of the scarf. All in all I'd say it's completely useless."
